5L photobioreactors (10 units) are designed for microalgae cultivation. They can be used to study various strains and culture conditions. LED strips are mounted on the inner surface of a galvanized pipe around the perimeter of the photobioreactor. Gas is fed into the photobioreactors from below using compressors and sprayed onto the bottom using an air aerator. Light intensity and gas flow are regulated.
