The FBR-100 photobioreactor is a vertical acrylic plexiglass tube designed for growing microalgae. LED strips mounted on a cylindrical reflector are positioned around the perimeter of the photobioreactor, parallel to its axis and 20 cm from the tube's surface. Gas is fed into the photobioreactor from below using a compressor and sprayed at the bottom using a ceramic atomizer. Light intensity and gas flow are regulated.
